Paramount Consumer Products & ExperiencesThe UK proudly displayed their annual PAW Patrol Awards presented by celebrity mum of three, Vogue Williams, at London’s Soho Hotel on Saturday 8th October. Six of the UK’s bravest little heroes were honored with trophies at the exclusive star-studded ceremony where Vogue and her son Theo were joined by a host of celebrity families including Lauren Goodger, Imogen Thomas, Joe Garratt, Shelby Trible, Amy Willerton plus some of the UK’s most popular parenting influencers.

 

Hosted by Paramount Consumer Products & Experiences UK in partnership with Spin Master, a leading global children’s entertainment company and creators of PAW Patrol, the PAW Patrol Awards celebrate children around the UK who have overcome personal challenges and demonstrated outstanding bravery or citizenship. Families shared thousands upon thousand of stories about the inspiring, moving, and sometimes heartbreaking achievements of their children. Netmums was a parenting media partner and selected six winners in each category on the basis of key PAW Patrol character characteristics. The winners also received a VIP trip for two to London. They were presented their awards by their favorite PAW Patrol characters. The gift basket included PAW Patrol toys, as well as a family tickets to Nickelodeon Land.

Hari, a Hari 5-year-old Hari hailing from Newham (London), was awarded the Rubble Award For Courage. He has shown remarkable courage in the face of Acute Lymphoblastic leukaemia treatment. Hari had to endure 18 months of difficult treatment during which he lost his walking ability. He persevered and is now a keen bicyclist, reaching the tops on high hills because of his determination.

 

Esme, a 4-yearold girl from Pembroksehire (Wales), won the Skye Award of Kindness. She has gone above-and-beyond to help others. Nervetumours UK is proud to support Esme, who is a person suffering from Neurofibromatosis Type 1. She has raised funds through sponsorship slides, pop-up shops and raffles as well as donations of her own items.

 

The Ryder Award for Sporting Achievement was won by 4-year-old Milo from Northern Ireland, who has bravely overcome the physical restrictions of his Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy to win a running race at his nursery’s sports day! Milo’s condition leaves him needing a wheelchair for longer distances, but after all his treatment was cancelled during covid, Milo’s family took it upon themselves to create their own physiotherapy obstacle courses at home. Milo persevered until he was able to stand, walk, run.

 

Sennen, a West Sussex girl aged nine, won Chase Award for leadership. Since her dad was diagnosed with brain tumors in 2018, she has been raising funds for brain cancer charities and spreading awareness. At the age of 5 she organized a 32-person 2k fun run raising over £5,000 and more recently has introduced the annual “wear a hat day”She will attend school to raise additional funds and awareness.

 

Zakariya, a 5-year-old from Nottingham, was awarded The Rocky Award for Caring for Our Planet. She is a young hero in sustainability. Zakariya truly lives by Rocky’s motto “Don’t lose it, reuse it!”He often uses cardboard boxes and other materials when making toys. He works to reduce single-use plastic and helps the environment.

 

Amyra, a Newcastle 5-year-old, won the Marshall Award as Community Hero. Amyra, five, was awarded the Marshall Award for Community Hero for her participation in charity runs for her mother for many years. This year, Amyra ran for Children’s Cancer north and has set her sights on further runs as she wants to help those who are unwell or less fortunate than herself.

 

The PAW Patrol Awards is part of Paramount’s year-long ‘Calling All Heroes’A brand marketing initiative that celebrates heroism. This event follows a recent appearance of one of the Pride of Scotland Awards this years, where he was surprise on stage with his favorite PAW Patrol characters as he collected his award. The PAW Patrol Awards will support a variety activities this autumn that will help to anchor new Spinmaster product launches in the UK. This will also help to lay the foundations of a busy year in 2023, when the brand celebrates 10 years.
